Position Overview: Certified Applicator – Vegetation Management


We are on the lookout for a Certified Applicator who is deeply interested in environmental stewardship and eager to apply their skills in vegetation management within our team. This pivotal field role focuses on maintaining the delicate balance between human activities and natural ecosystems in the Peace River region, catering to a diverse clientele, including the oil and gas industry.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute targeted applications of herbicides to control invasive species and promote the preservation of natural landscapes, utilizing UTV and ATV mounted systems.

  • Lead on-the-ground efforts in mechanical control, erosion control, and soil remediation to support ecosystem health.

  • Operate safely across varied terrains, including rural and remote areas, adapting to different weather conditions and work schedules.

  • Oversee the use of our proprietary software for comprehensive tracking of herbicide use across projects, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in environmental stewardship and vegetation management, with or without a formal certification.

  • Experience with various equipment operations, including one-ton or larger crew trucks and UTV/ATV, is preferred.

  • Advanced computer skills for managing tracking software and producing precise spray records.

  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with an assistant, demonstrating project management skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
