Position Overview: Assistant Applicator/Applicator – Vegetation Management
We are actively seeking a dedicated Assistant Applicator to join our dynamic team in the Peace River region, serving a diverse clientele including the oil and gas industry. This role is essential for those passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to contribute to the preservation of natural landscapes through effective vegetation management.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist in the application of herbicides using UTV and ATV mounted systems, targeting unwanted vegetation while conserving beneficial flora.
Engage in various environmental management practices including mechanical control, erosion control, and soil remediation to support the health of natural ecosystems.
Operate safely in rural and remote locations, adapting to long hours (typically 12-hour shifts) and flexible scheduling based on weather conditions.
Utilize specialized software for precise tracking of herbicide application across different sites.
Career Path and Development:
Start your journey as an Assistant Applicator with the prospect of advancing to a Certified Applicator role. This transition comes with a pay increase and acknowledges your expertise and familiarity with our operational procedures.

Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with the ability to safely drive a one-ton or larger crew truck; trailer handling proficiency is advantageous.
Strong computer skills for effective use of in-house tracking applications.
A passion for outdoor work, environmental conservation, and a willingness to engage in physical labor for extended periods.
Previous experience in vegetation management is preferred, though not mandatory, as training will be provided.
